As you may know, the big Doctor's alias David Tennant switched on the Blackpool Illuminations this year at the end of August. It wasn't the first time David Tennant had been in Blackpool; he filmed a TV mini-series of the same name in 2004. Mini!Ten came on holiday with me, to sight see and to reminisce about past lives.

Viva Blackpool!Collapse )

Hi all! *waves* First post here. Last week, I was in California for a convention/competition. While I was there, I got to go to DisneyLand for two very quick days, and mini Ten went with me. This was his first trip to Disney, and so we took pictures of just a few of the places we went, and what happened.

I had every intention of posting this when I got back last December...well that didn't exactly go as planned. ;)

Anyway, the Mini!Dr went to India with me last Nov/Dec. He missed out on the wedding festivities b/c his flight was delayed. (one of my good friends had bought him for me as a BDay prezzie and didn't arrive in India until after the weddings.)

So we find the Dr. enjoying Read more...Collapse )

he just wished that he had had his Tardis to travel home in instead of the long airplane flights but all in all he enjoyed his visit.

next i may take him to see the Tut exhibit in Philly...though they may not allow cameras. bummer. hmmm, perhaps we can manage some other Philly landmarks. hopefully this time it won't take me months to get the pics up.

that is all.

I have been mini!tenning [and mini!k-9ing, and mini!cybermaning.....] over Christmas/New year but I haven't managed to get them into any coherent structure [due to the sudden expansion of my mini!collection]. But I've found this, in the tie-in book Ther Ressurection Casket [by Justin Richards] that implies we do the right thing....

"...I've got an old action figure of him. Uncle Bobb doesn't like me playing with it because it's quite rare. You're supposed to keep it in the box and not use it, then it's more valuable. But I think it should be played with. I've got them all, but Cannon-K's the only one from the original set, when they first came out."
The Doctor leaned slightly closer. "You carry on playing with it," he whispered."Because, know what? You're right, that's what toys are for."

Thought you'd like to know!
